About

Boozhoo, and welcome to INDIGIPACK.

We started INDIGIPACK because we wanted to see our language in everyday places. Not just in classrooms or at special events, but on the sticker that seals a bag, the card tucked in with an order, or the paper around a gift.

Every design uses simple Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe) words like Boozhoo (hello), Chi Miigwetch (thank you very much), Zaagi'idiwin (love) and Mino-bimaadiziwin (the good life). Our hope is that Indigenous people opening a package see themselves represented, and that small businesses have an easy way to share these words with their customers.

Everything is made to order, so items are printed only when you buy them.

A note on the language: We check every word against the Ojibwe People's Dictionary. Anishinaabemowin has many dialects and spellings, and we're always learning. If you're a fluent speaker and see something that could be better, please reach out at indigipack@gmail.com.

Chi Miigwetch,

The INDIGIPACK team
